Near the city of Matera, nestled in the rolling hills of Basilicata, stands the historic Dragone family farmhouse, now an agritourism property producing and selling genuine, natural, zero-kilometer products. Cultivating raw materials in harmony with nature forms the foundation of our farm’s philosophy. We continue the family winemaking tradition and complement it with the production of other local products, such as legumes and ancient grains. Casal Dragone is the result of the work of five generations. We aim to share the simple and authentic side of our tradition through cuisine, hospitality, and cultural offerings, ensuring a carefully curated experience in every aspect. The Casal Dragone agritourism also functions as a winery, with seven hectares of land dedicated to the cultivation of vines, legumes, and the raw materials needed for the dishes served in our restaurant.
