Amaro Lucano nasce nel 1894 da una ricetta segreta del Cav. Pasquale Vena, che nella famiglia Vena tramanda di generazione in generazione. Grazie alla sapiente miscelazione di più di 30 erbe ha un gusto deciso, ideale per tutte le occasioni. Nel 1900, l’Amaro Lucano ottenne notorietà a livello nazionale, da quando i Vena divennero fornitori ufficiali della reale Casa Savoia, il cui stemma appare sull’etichetta. Nel 1950, sotto la guida di Leonardo e Giuseppe Vena, figli di Pasquale, l’azienda diventò una realtà industriale, raggiungendo una produzione di 117.000 litri e nel 1965 viene aperto un nuovo stabilimento nella frazione di Pisticci Scalo. L’azienda continuò a crescere mantenendo un alto livello qualitativo, sempre alla conquista di nuovi mercati.
